Every licensing fact on this site is drawn from an official source — the issuing state board or agency, its published documents, or the relevant statute or administrative code. We do not restate requirements from memory or from unofficial third-party sites. Facts that cannot be confirmed from an official source are left out. See the methodology for details.
Independence
LicensingAtlas is editorially independent. No licensing board, government agency, advertiser, or training provider reviews our content before publication or influences which requirements we report. How we’re funded is explained in the affiliate & advertising disclosure .
Updates & freshness
Requirements change. Each page records the date it was last verified against its sources, and pages are re-checked on a schedule. When the underlying facts change, the page — and its verification date — are updated.
